Our family is originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. As our children approached their middle school years, we thought long and hard about the upbringing that we wanted for them. Our values made the decision easy, our children would be raised in as safe and healthy environment as we were capable of providing. Tomahawk provided the perfect backdrop!

We were very "hands-on" in the design and layout of our cabin. We made sure that this home would be designed to last with all the functionality and amenities that a family needs. To this day, we wouldn't change the decisions that we made back then.

Our children attended Tomahawk area schools, participated in community sports and activities, and most importantly, grew up in a safe, small town where kids are still fostered through childhood and early adulthood.

As they are known to do, today our children have grown. Our daughter has gotten married and bought her first home and our son recently graduated from college. Both children have decided to create their lives in western Wisconsin. Although it means leaving the cabin that we put our hearts and souls into, the home we watched evolve since its inception, we have decided that again we will again make a difficult choice for our family. We have decided to sell our quiet "little cabin" in order to be near our children.

We hope that the next chapter in of our cabin's story will be filled with happy family memories, friends enjoying the beautiful surroundings, and providing the setting for a new family's history.
